Water Systems
Salt water can be found in oceans and salt lakes/marshes. They are abundant in the world and can be om 3 forms of matter. Salt water is found in oceans, which take up 97% of water on the Earth. The average salinity of salt water is 3.5%.
Fresh water can be found in rivers, streams, lakes, glaciers/icecaps and marshes. They are in small amounts in the world and can also be in 3 forms of matter. Though they are considered fresh, they are not potable. Drinkable water and fresh water are different things, thus there is a certain salinity and certain amounts of chemicals that need to be treated before becoming potable.
Airborne water includes water vapour and fogs.
There are microorganisms that are harmful bacteria and can kill human beings and animals. There is a certain amount of chlorine needed to be used to destroy the microoganisms that is proportion to the amount of microorganisms in a certain amount of water.
Water Cycle
Estuaries have areas of brakish water, where fresh water from lakes and salt water from oceans mix.
Ground water is the water the sank through the ground and filled up from the bottom of the soil and stopped at the bedrock enough to rise as the water table rose. The water table is the level of which the ground water is at or just where the water level is at. If the water table rose too much during a storm, then possibilities of flooding may occur.
